Yacht Description
DOLCE VITA was built in 2004 in a small shipyard specialized in wooden construction in Santander, Spain. The hull & superstructure are made of wood, mixing old traditional construction and designing with the latest updated techniques. She recovers a true prototype of the old times romantic yachts. This yacht has been designed with the idea of enjoying comfortable holidays, sailing peacefully, easily and relaxing. The boat is mainly used for short travels, but the fuel range allows it also to make extended coastal trips.
Outstretched spaces of the boat's romantic exterior lines transport us to another era while incorporating all the present-day conveniences associated with recreational navigation. The bathing platform is created by activating a hydraulic mechanism that opens the stern, accompanied by a convenient folding bathing ladder.
From the cockpit, a stairway leads to the cozy bridge deck featuring a sun terrace with moveable sun-loungers and a coffee table, as well as two furniture units, one housing the fridge and the other a sink and grill.
Several air beds have been placed on both levels of the bow superstructure to be used as a solarium. The sliding roof and large wrap-round windows ensure excellent visibility from the bridge, perfect for sailing and maneuvering. On the bow of DOLCE VITA is a retractable outdoor cinema, which is another noteworthy amenity.
The cockpit avails itself of a spacious communal living area comprised of the saloon, dining room and the galley, the appliances of which are all concealed by wooden cupboards, including the central aisle. The galley is located furthest aft and constitutes two benches set on either side together with a central aisle. In addition, the central aisle and the benches are fitted with pull-out or folding extensions to provide an additional work surface.
The forward section has been reserved for the saloon dining area, made up of an L-shaped sofa and a folding leaf table that enables to accommodate ten diners. The yacht is very well equipped to achieved total comfort on board including air- conditioning, audio video system, dishwasher, washing machine, oven, hob plates, icemaker, outside barbecue, TV´s in most of the cabins, two fridges & freezer.
DOLCE VITA can sleep up to 8 passengers. The owner enjoys a full beam spacious and bright cabin located at the aft and it is accessed from the communal area. The master cabin includes a spacious study and a great deal of in-built storage capacity. From here a door provides direct access to the cockpit. In the en suite bathroom, both the shower and lavatory are separated by sliding screens.
An additional guest accommodation area can be accessed by descending a stairway from the forward section of the main saloon. This area features 1 double cabin with private bathroom. In addition, there is 1 twin cabin with 2 bunk beds and a third cabin with 1 double bed and 1 additional single bed above - the access doors of which are sliding. These two cabins share the bathroom. One cabin is intended for crew's usage.
